One of my favorite summer treats is peach ice cream. It is so cool and refreshing on a hot summer evening. And today is National Peach Ice Cream Day. Yum. I’ll have to make sure to get me some.
One summer long ago we made homemade peach ice cream for a party we held. It took some effort with salt and ice, but it was SOOO good. We still have the ice cream maker, though we haven’t used it in years. Buying from the store is much easier.
