To me, sugar cookies not only taste good, but they are the most versatile of cookies. I make cut out frosted sugar cookies for almost every holiday and a lot of special occasion–from bridal showers to the Super Bowl! The cookies can be cut in just about any shape and frosted to match any color scheme. The recipe I use is a lot of work because it’s a three-step/day process. The dough has to be mixed and then chilled. Then comes the rolling out and cutting and baking and then the frosting. It can be time consuming, but I love the results. Sugar cookies are just plain fun!
