This was my first Colleen Hoover book. I’d seen many recommendations, and overall it did not disappoint. It was a little crass in some places, and there were quite a few convenient coincidences. But I liked the characters and basic storyline and wanted to see the outcome. Four stars!

I was interested in your comments about Colleen Hoover’s books. I must be too old and cranky to enjoy them. I found her writing crass, unreal, and sometimes downright silly. I note she has 4 or 5 books on the NY Times best seller list so it must be just me. Yet I despair that readers can find nothing else of worth to read.

Hi, Beth! Yes, I found it a bit crass, but thought it was an interesting way to tackle a tough subject matter. This was the first book of hers for me.
